Norway Area Community Foundation Scholarships
DACF manages the following endowed scholarships for Norway High School. The application period opens annually in the fall, and applications are due by March 15 of the following year. Please consult your guidance counselor.
ALAN & JENNIFER DISABLED COMBAT VETERANS REMEMBRANCE MEDICAL
This scholarship is provided to Norway High School graduates pursuing a degree at a Michigan post-secondary school in a medical field.

PATRICIA V. BERTOLDI MEMORIAL
This is a renewable scholarship available to graduating Norway High School seniors with the goal of earning a four-year degree. Applicant must be majoring in art, education, business, or engineering.

REINO KOIVUNEN AND JANET BRACKETT KOIVUNEN
This scholarship will be awarded annually to a graduating senior from Norway High School who will be attending the University of Michigan or to a Norway High School graduate already attending the University of Michigan.

KURTZ MEMORIAL
This scholarship is awarded annually to graduating seniors of Norway High School who have attended NHS for at least two years. Preference will be given to applicants entering a school for training in the construction trades, i.e., carpenter, electrician, plumber, mason, drafter or other fields that apply , or a school of cosmetology.

WILLIAM AND BEVERLY MARCHETTI
This scholarship is a one-time award for graduating seniors of Norway High School. This scholarship is available to students whose class rank is below the top 10%. Financial need will be considered in selection. Applicants must be entering their first year at an accredited degree-granting two-or four year post secondary institution. Additional considerations include character, community service, church-related activities, and 4-H involvement.

GERALD MCKIE MEMORIAL
This scholarship is available to graduating seniors of Norway High School who have been students in the Norway-Vulcan School District for at least twelve years and have demonstrated success by his/her work habits and academic achievement.

RONBERG MEMORIAL
This scholarship is awarded to graduating seniors of Norway High School and must be a varsity football award winner who has displayed leadership qualities.

RUWITCH MEMORIAL
This scholarship is for a graduating senior of Norway High School. This scholarship is awarded in memory of Simon, Julius & Bessie Ruwitch, and Harry & Ida Ruwitch, all of whom were pioneer members of the Ruwitch families which played a significant role in the Norway area.

Two awards for graduating seniors of Norway High School. The Charles E. Day Scholarship recipient must be a graduating senior girl athlete. The Maria Day Scholarship recipient must be pursuing further education in a vocational field.
