Dickinson Area Community Foundation Scholarships
DACF is the steward of the following endowed scholarships for graduating seniors at area schools. Each scholarship fund is unique with varying criteria and requirements.
Applications are due by March 15 unless otherwise noted. Please consult your guidance counselor.
MTU DELTA SIGMA PHI ENGINEERED LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is provided to Michigan Tech students who are active members in good standing of the Beta Pi chapter of the the Delta Sigma Phi fraternity on the MTU campus and who have shown leadership in their school and community.
ASSOCIATION OF STUDENT ARTISTS (ASA)
This scholarship is provided to Iron Mountain, Kingsford, Niagara, North Dickinson, Norway and Pembine High School graduates that participated in ASA or were enrolled in art classes to continue his/her education.

BILL BACIAK MEMORIAL
This scholarship is provided to either Kingsford or Norway High School graduates who will be going on to a vocational or technical school in the field of electrical, mechanical, or industrial mechanics.

BLOMQUIST FAMILY
This scholarship is provided to graduating North Dickinson seniors. Applicants must have been accepted at an accredited 2 or 4-year college or university.

CAROLEE DODGE FRANCIS YOUTH
This scholarship is provided to Crystal Falls, Iron Mountain, Kingsford, North Dickinson and Norway High School graduates in recognition of demonstrated community service and volunteerism.

CRYSTAL KAY CHARLEVOIX MEMORIAL
The scholarship will be offered to Norway High School and to North Dickinson High School in alternating years. In 2026, North Dickinson High School graduates are eligible.
DAVID G. CORLETT MEMORIAL
This scholarship is provided to Kingsford High School graduates pursuing a degree in education at a college or university.

This scholarship is provided to North Dickinson High School graduates pursuing a degree (i.e., certificate, associate, or bachelor) in any field at an accredited two or four-year college or university.

DONNA L. MANKO-LUSARDI SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is available to graduating Iron Mountain, Kingsford, Niagara, Norway, Florence, or North Dickinson High School seniors who are entering nursing, respiratory therapy, or x-ray technology.
ETHEL LIND MEMORIAL
This scholarship is provided to a high school graduate continuing his/her education at any one-two year or four year technical school, college or university by the Grace Methodist Church of Norway. Greater consideration will be given to a Grace Methodist Church of Norway parishioner.

This scholarship is available to Norway High School and North Dickinson High School seniors who are pursuing a STEM degree or preparing for a career in the energy sector by pursuing a degree in STEM, public policy, or another applicable course of study.

This scholarship is available to graduating seniors of any high school who completed classes at the Dickinson-Iron Intermediate School District Technical Center located in Iron Mountain, Michigan. This scholarship is available to students entering a degree or certificate-granting program in the automotive industry at an accredited college/university or trade school.

This scholarship is available to graduating seniors of North Dickinson High School or to students in the DIISD Career and Technical Education Center Early College Program who are attending Michigan Tech.

NURSES MEMORIAL
This scholarship is provided to high school graduates within Dickinson County, Michigan who are pursuing an education in the nursing field. It is also available to non-traditional students who work or live in Dickinson County.

This scholarship is provided to Iron Mountain High School graduates who are entering a degree-granting program at a four-year post-secondary institution of higher learning. Applications from students pursuing degrees in education, math, and science-related fields shall be given preference; however, students entering any field of study are eligible to apply.

ROBERT AND PATRICIA FORGETTE
Two or more scholarship recipients will be chosen annually. Applicants must be pursuing a degree in a business-related field or entering a “trades” field through an apprenticeship, certificate, or associate degree program of at least one academic year in length.
ROBERT J. PETERSON EAGLE SCOUT
This scholarship is provided to Florence, Iron Mountain, Kingsford, Niagara and North Dickinson High School graduates who have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scout Program.
