Field of Interest Program Grants

The Dickinson Area Community Foundation manages endowment funds for the following causes and programs.

501(c)(3) non-profit organizations, agencies, and non-taxable entities can apply for these grants annually.

The 2026 Field of Interest grant cycle is now closed. The 2027 grant cycle will open in September 2026 and applications will be due in October 2026.

Civic Improvement Fund

This is a community/field of interest fund that is used for grantmaking to allow community leaders to invest time and energy to help our communities collaborate. Available for collaborative project(s) to benefit or serve the Iron Mountain, Kingsford, and Breitung Township communities. The Grant Committee includes a representative from each community.

This is a community/field of interest fund that supports youth and senior health issues, tobacco cessation, and prevention programs.

This is a community fund to support charitable, educational, cultural, recreational, environmental or social welfare projects benefitting the Crystal Falls area.

Debelak Foodshare

This is a field of interest fund serving Dickinson County. Grant funds will be used exclusively for purchasing/acquiring food items for distribution through an established free food bank, free meal program, or a similar type of free food program.

This is a community/field of interest fund that enhances the natural resources within the region. Available for projects that improve or create methods of enhancing natural resources in the region.

Forest Park Kellogg Youth Fund

This is a community/field of interest fund for the Forest Park Youth Advisory Committee, which is made up of youth from the Crystal Falls, Michigan area. Grant funds are used to support projects benefiting youth.
