Pine Creek Woodworking receives a Community Impact Grant

The Dickinson Area Community Foundation recently awarded a $500 Community Impact Grant to Pine Creek Woodworking. The grant was made possible through a matching grant with the Pasahow Family Fund. The funds will be used to purchase new woodworking equipment. Pine Creek Woodworking is a new local non-profit that has been established to assist veterans and senior citizens in learning the craft of woodworking. The facility will be available at no cost and will be handicap accessible. All labor for the updating of the facility has been volunteer, with a plan to open in 2023. An additional $ 75,000.00 is still needed to purchase woodworking equipment. If you would like to donate to Pine Creek Woodworking, please mail a check in any amount to:

Pine Creek Woodworking

W7401 Upper Pine Creek Drive

Iron Mountain, MI 49801

Every dollar donated will be used for equipment and building updates.
