The Dickinson Area Community Foundation, along with the Norway Area Community Foundation and a matching grant from the Pasahow family, has awarded a $500 Community Impact Grant to Fireflies. Fireflies is a non-profit organization that exists to provide Dickinson County and the surrounding areas with resources for families and children, assisting in making connections with professional services such as counseling, spiritual, health and wellness, and offers natural support to help foster resilient families. The grant funds will be used to create a “pocket garden” for children to learn about planting and growing flowers and vegetables, and the wonders of nature.
