Community & Field of Interest Funds

These funds are established by donors to address issues/concerns in areas that are of specific interest to the donor. For instance, environmental, health, civic, and fine arts.

Administrative

This is a community/field of interest fund that ensures the continuation of the community foundation.

Civic Improvement

This is a community/field of interest fund that is used for grant making to allow community leaders to invest time and energy to help our communities collaborate.

Community Health

This is a community/field of interest fund that supports youth and senior tobacco related health issues, tobacco cessation, and use prevention programs.

Environmental - Natural Resources

This is a community/field of interest fund that enhances the natural resources within the region.

Fine Arts

This is a community/field of interest fund that supports projects in the area of theatrical, musical, and performing arts.

Health Access

This is a community/field of interest fund that supports prevention, primary physical health care, educational, and other health related services.

Homeless Prevention

This is a community/field of interest fund that assists people in need and to prevent loss of shelter.

Hunger

This is a community/field of interest fund that provides grants to organizations to help with food to people in need.

Kellogg Youth

This is a community/field of interest fund for the Dickinson Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) made up of local youth from the Iron Mountain/Kingsford, Michigan area.

Unrestricted

This is a community/field of interest fund that supports the Foundation Board of Trustees in determining the distribution of income.

Veterans Assistance

This is a community/field of interest fund that provides grants to non-profit organizations that support veterans of the United States Armed Forces.

Visual Arts

This is a community/field of interest fund that promotes the visual arts for youth in the area and is dedicated to the Association of Student Artists (ASA).
